Dear friends,
this is my old cat Sooty as a moveable cat in a basket.I used brads on the limbs, head and tail and then tied a bow to hold the cat on the page. it is part of the 21 secrets workshops.

Transformation

Dear friends,
this is some art from the 21 secrets workshops and I did some sponging with sponges in the shape of a butterfly in pink on a plain yellow page. I then added ways I am transforming in pink felt pen. More of my simple art. still don't like things too complex with my art.

Index cards

Dear friends,
these are some of my first index card art. I only recently discovered index card art. I use index cards to remind me of jobs that need doing and have things like shopping, library written on them. I decided to paint and decorate them and am enjoying using them

21 secrets.. emotional evolution

This is part of an online workshop called emotional evolution. I had to write down one of my fears which is traveling on country roads and gesso over it. Add images which I did with a country road and my chauffeur who now helps me go places instead of being in danger on roads. I added words and all is finished. a bit of fun

Had fun with Photobooth on my MAc computer and an editing facility I just learnt. this is great fun and I will do it a lot more in different ways. I'll share what I come up with later.

Sparkles

Dear friends,
these pages are part of a Sparkles course from Jamie Ridler. I took photos of images with certain colors and then chopped them up to create new images. Enjoyed doing this and will do again.

Altered book pages

Dear friends,
Been awhile. I have still been doing my art in zippy mode but haven't had anything worth adding to my blog. I enjoyed doing these two pages with my altered book. I added brown paper with white pattern to pages. Gessoed around the paper and used gesso to stamp on page using a stamp made of a jar with wool twined around it so I could paint the base covered with twine. makes great effect. I then added some words about inner peace from the altered book pages I removed. That's it...more of my simple art.
