Dear friends,
I am doing art celebrating Julia Cameron's famous book on creativity The artist way. Chapter 5 is the gift of possibility and these are the pages I did representing the river of life and being in the flow of it.

Letters

Dear friends,
These journal pages I did a page that opens out and I journaled inside. there is a tab to grab to open page. I used a serviette with butterflies on to decorate the pages. I did wooden letters that I used as headings for the journaling. I have been doing a course from Strathmore and this was the result of one of the workshops.

Brave girls soul restoration

Dear friends,
I did a course with "Brave girls" called soul restoration (just google it). These were the final pages of a fabulous course. this is about caring for myself and keeping myself well tuned like a guitar.

Blind painting

Dear friends,
On a creativity site some of us were challenged to do some art blind...with eyes closed or a blind fold. I decided to take on the challenge and did a face. I learnt so much like how the paint feels on the page, needing to wait lots of time for it to dry because you don't know when it is unless you feel it. You have to keep an idea in your mind of what you have painted. You need the paints ordered so you know what color is what by feel. Most interesting.

Latest altered book pages

Dear friends,
Here is my latest altered book page. I gessoed the pages leaving some of the printed material. I added two images and then painted on some leaves on the images to alter them. I added some buttons on wool thread.
