Something hot - an iron

I love doing the ironing particularly tea towels and hankies and pillow cases. I love washing as well. I am single so don't have loads to do.
Lots of love from Susan in Australia

Susan, that is a great iron!! Seems the only I iron these days are the quilt blocks I am sewing, but I relate to what you are saying about washing and ironing.

Susan, this is a lovely drawing. I love the smell of ironing but do very little of it these days. Your tea towels probably look much neater than mine.

What amazes me about this is how you got the sense of curves and volumes WITHOUT doing any shading. Or maybe it's just that I had an iron that looked very much like this! Anybody else feel the heft of it just by looking? PS: If you get to Texas you may do my ironing.

I like the treatment you used on the cord and the tip of the iron.

Please feel free to stop on by and do some of my ironing. Plugging in the iron for you as we speak!
(thanks for your very kind greeting.)

I really like the simplicity of this sketch. I hate getting to the ironing, but once I'm doing it, I really enjoy it. It's one of the simple things we do in a complicated world. It's nice, like the simple sketches. And, thanks for stopping by....

Good words.

I hate ironing, but there is something calming about doing the laundry and hanging it up on the line outside to dry. This is very nice. I really like how you did the cord. Nicely done.
