Challenge 70 ...something I'm afraid of

I did this from a picture as there is no way I could do the drawing from a live spider. These huntsmen are very common where I live lin Australia. I have had them in the house usually high up near the ceiling. I have also had them inside my car when I was driving and on the outside.....very scary for someone like me who doesn't like these sorts of spiders. Tiny spiders and daddy long legs are OK.
Lots of love from Susan in Australia

VERY NICELy DONE!! I know so many folks who fear these critters .. I happen to like them -- not too many, of course, but they do help keep nastier insects at bay! My son raised them when he was small .. as much as i like spiders, I'm really glad he got over that hobby! LOL

It is a perfect image of a very scary critter. I can admire them from afar and that is close enough.

Eek! Are they dangerous? I don't think I could never bring myself to draw a spider from life either. Your sketch is sending shivers all over me! Nicely done!

^ Sorry about the bad grammar in my previous comment. The spider freaked me out so much I started talking gibberish! :-)

This is one grat sketch of a spider. I hear you guys grow 'em big down there. :-) I don't mind little spiders, but I do mind the hairy wolf spiders we sometimes see here. There are so big! Anyway, wonderful work.

Nice job, Susan. I have to agree with you about spiders- and I remember that in Australia there are some particularly frightening ones.
