Agatha

Dear friends,
Here is my latest doll Agatha. I baked her head too much so it went from a lovely purple to a dark black! I am also learning how to do faces and don't do them very well. SHe is so ugly. Poor Agatha and no arms or legs. I am learning to like her. I am making her a doll journal to tell me her story.
lots of love from susan in australia

Aww, sometimes they become the most beautiful, whoops, I think I saw a tear - give her lots of love :) Blessings, Janet (wildartdolls group)

Even though she's been charred by the "fire", she survived and as her story unfolds she may find herself some arms and legs!

Ah, poor Agatha! I had a troll figure (posted on my blog) that ended up with a severe "tan" too........ But no less loved, right? Make sure to use an oven thermometer, and tent the head with aluminum foil to protect from burning in the future!

I agree with JKW! I feel an awful lotta love for this dolly, through your story of creating and caring for her in all her imperfection ;) It reminds me that often the (perceived) ugliest parts of ourselves are the parts that need our love the most!
